General
- Only owners are permitted in this league.

- Created owners and existing owners are both allowed.

- Each team must have a minimum of 3 QBs on their team at all times! If not, the game has some pretty stupid glitches when it comes to injuries.

- There will be a strict No Quitting Policy. Quitting is unacceptable and will result in a boot from the league. We all know losing can be frustrating, just stick it out until the end anyways. **THIS INCLUDES CPU GAMES**

NOTE:Sometimes the EA servers act up and the game will lag. If it's lagging unbearably and you just don't think you'll be able to finish, ask you opponent if they are willing to play at another time. This should be done within the 1st quarter. If the lag starts outside of the 1st quarter, just try and come to an agreement shortly after. Of course, you don't have to go this route and could finish the game. There could be a chance that you regret either of the options.[/b]

Advances

- We would like to try and advance a minimum of 3 times per week. At the moment, this is still getting looked at.

Communication

- If 1 owner has tried to schedule a game, but the opposing owner isn't responding, the opposing owner will be put on auto-pilot until he responds so the other owner can play against the CPU.

- If an owner doesn't respond within 3 advances after being put on auto-pilot, he will be dropped. This is unless he's notified the league that he will be away.

- If you have scheduled a time to play someone, you have at least 30 minutes to show up or let them know if something has come up. If no one hears from you, you will be set to auto-pilot and your opponent will play the CPU. Time is valuable, no one wants to waste theirs sitting around waiting on someone. And they shouldn't have to either. If your opponent wants to give you more time than the 30 minutes then that's okay as well. But that is to their discretion.

- To see what's going on around the league, I'll post news in the "Discussion Thread" or on the portal page. You can access this by clicking "Portal" on the Navigation Bar.

- Communication is the key to success. As long as we are communicating with each other, there should be little to no misunderstandings.

Participation

- The goal here is to have a fun environment to play Madden with each other. I hope that everyone will be active on the boards when they're able to. It's not required, but it's highly encouraged.

- Game recaps are not required either, but they are another thing that is encouraged.

Gameplay
- Most of the games should against users, but occasionally you may have a CPU game. If and when you have a CPU game, you may NOT Super Sim one side of the ball and play the other. It has been said that this feature is slightly broken and hardly runs off any time on the clock. Which equals massive stats for the user, which isn't what we're going for.

- You can control any player you want at anytime on offense and defense, but, before the snap, you may only move the player that you control.

- NO zig-zagging, runinng in circles, or moving back and forth before the snap. This confuses the O-line AI and allows people to come free a lot.

- Hurry up should only be used within 2 minutes of the first half, 3 minutes of the second half, or when trailing by a lot (18+) in the second half or (7+ in the 4th). If you run hurry up more than twice in a row or more than 5 times in a game when it is not permitted for regular use, you will be penalized.

- Dropping lineman back into coverage is NOT allowed. If it's reported that you are doing this, you will be warned and then punished for repeated offenses.

- Please don't run up the score. For example: Kicking a Field Goal with a few seconds left with a 21 point lead or running for a touchdown when all you have to do is kneel the ball to end the game. Running up the score is unsportsmanlike and not allowed in this league.

- Punt on 4th down unless: 4th and 1 or less on or across your own 40; 4th and 2 across or on the opponents 45; down by a lot(17 points or more) in the 2nd half; or down by multiple TD's in the 4th; or you are down and it is under 3 minutes left in the game.

- You can not run out the back of the end zone before a kick off return. This is usually done to be at a higher speed when you catch the ball. Once again, NOT allowed to do this.

- You can not manually move any of the players back to block on punt and kick returns.

- If it is determined you are stat padding, you will have to sit the offending stat producers for a set amount of time based on their stats from that particular game.

- Tanking games is not acceptable. This would be losing games on purpose for a higher draft pick. It ruins the fun of the game and will result in being penalized.

Disconnects

- If a game disconnects in the 2nd half, the user that caused the disconnect automatically get a loss from the game. I can not go back and erase the score. There is a workaround though. If the user that's still online turns off his PS3 before leaving the game, the score and stats won't save. Here are the options we have going forward regarding that:

- If the user that's winning causes the d/c, his opponent MUST do the workaround.

- If the user that's losing causes the d/c, his opponent MUST discuss whether to keep the stats and score or do the workaround with him.  

- If one user keeps disconnecting, the users can agree to play at a later time (within the advance window) or the user that's causing the d/c will go on auto-pilot(if it's towards the end of the advance window).

- If both users are experiencing problems connecting, then the game will be simmed.

Trades

- There is 100% NO trading with the CPU. CPU to CPU trades may happen, there's nothing really we can do about that.

- Users are allowed 3 trades per season. If you use all of your trades for a season, you will be granted your next 2 trades in the off-season. (Right after the super bowl)

- During the off-season and draft, draft picks may be exchanged between users without it counting against their trade limit. However, if any player is involved in the trade, it will count against the limit.

- The Trade Deadline is week 8 of each season.

- Off-season trades may be submitted for trade committee approval once we are in the resigning players stage.

- Any part of a trade that's not listed in the trade proposal will not be honored or enforced by the commissioner.

- Any trade that has been approved by the trade committee cannot be backed out of. So, make sure you really want the trade before it gets voted on.

- All trades will be voted on by a trade committee. These users will be ensuring that a trade is not completely one-sided. Some guys will make a huge trade, hate their team, and then leave the league. We are going to do our best to prevent this.

- During the draft, due to time restraints, any and all trades must be approved by the commissioner.

- If a member quits or is booted before the trade is completed, the trade will be voided.

- If a player is traded, the team that traded him can not put in a waiver claim for him for one year. The team can, however, pick him back up if he clears waivers.

- New users cannot trade for 4 weeks or until the end of the season, whichever happens first.

How trades work:

- A user will make an offer to another user in the trade block or anywhere else and if that user accepts, the user makes a thread giving the details of the trade and we vote on it.  

- If the trade is approved, one of the users will make a post in the "WDIFF Trade Room" for approval. The other user should post in the room that he accepts the terms to avoid a debacle after the trade gets voted on.

- If approved, the trade can be sent on PS4 and accepted on either the PS4 or the Madden Connected Franchise site.

Free Agents

- We will have a 24 hour period for FA bidding period at the beginning of the CFM. I will make an announcement when it will be starting.

- During the playoffs, ONLY teams currently in the playoffs may add/drop players.

Penalties

-Penalties will be issued based on the rules broken and what the commissioner thinks is the most suitable punishment. Some punishments may be appealed.

I made it so people have to contact me before they can join the league now. This reduces the risk of randoms trying to get into the league and messing it up.

could you put back on the deadline time counter? It was actually pretty beneficial:)
